My grandmother used to say that amethyst fades when it’s tired. Anyone else heard that lore? Or do you have any other beliefs when it comes to crystals?
Your grandma’s saying is adorable! The fading is actually from sunlight bleaching the quartz, but many people interpret it as the stone “needing a break.”
