Bought a citrine cluster online, but a friend said it might be heat-treated amethyst. What is that?? Any easy way to tell them apart at home? Appreciate any info!
I once bought a cluster labeled citrine that looked like candy corn. Turns out it was baked amethyst. Still pretty, but I learned to ask sellers if it’s natural or treated.
