What's the best crystal you ever bought or received?

My best friend gave me a smoky quartz cluster for my birthday a few years back, said she picked it up at a garage sale for five bucks. But so it turns out it's a rare form from Colorado with some light rutile inclusions. What I then did was I had it appraised later out of curiosity and the guy said it would go for a few hundred bucks at gem shows. I like the energy, too.

Damn, thats some luck.. Smoky quartz with rutile inclusions from Colorado can def be valuable, especially if its a well formed cluster. The price estimate sounds about right for gem shows, depending on size and its clarity. But honestly, the sentimental value and good energy probably make it even more priceless especially considering shes a best friend.
