Factors when buying crystals

For me it's three things: authenticity (is it actually what the seller claims), quality (clarity, color, formation), and sourcing (was it mined responsibly). I've been burned by fakes before, so I always double-check.

For me, it's mostly about energy and intuition, I usually pick the ones I feel drawn to. I also check for clarity, any cracks or inclusions, and sometimes the size or shape matters depending on how I plan to use it

@vvti_4age I usually decide based on how I plan to use it. For the desk or a grid, I prioritize shape (pyramids, spheres, or towers) because they direct energy nicely. For carrying in a pocket or for meditation, I stick to tumbled stones or smooth palm stones. If I need intense healing, I look for raw, unpolished clusters because I find their energy more potent.
So, the factor isn't just 'what stone is it,' but 'what form is best for my purpose?
