Are amazonite crystals dyed?

I noticed that my amazonite is not as bright turquoise as it was before. if its dyed, does it mean it is not a real amazonite? any help will be appreciated

It could still be amazonite but it's just enhanced so it's not really something you can call natural. That's a little off and defeats the purpose of crystals really.

Yeah, real amazonite has a natural, soft shimmer and the color doesn't shift drastically unless it's been exposed to harsh sunlight or chemicals and look if it was vividly bright before and now it's dull, chances are it was treated, well it doesn't make it fake exactly, just not entirely natural.

It seems like it's still amazonite, but it might have been enhanced. Genuine, untreated amazonite typically has a soft, subtle shimmer and doesn't fade quickly unless it's been exposed to sunlight or harsh chemicals. If it was really bright and has turned dull, there's a good chance it was dyed or treated. Hav you had it in the sun much or cleaned it with anything strong?

Makes sense, if the color is fading or super bright, it probably means it's been treated, not natural amazonite.
