Selenite and water

Not a good combination.

I ruined my selenite by rinsing it after a dusty hike. Rookie mistake. Let’s make a thread of what not to do with our favorite stones!

Oh no, selenite doesn’t like water at all! I made the same mistake. I put mine in water and it started falling apart. Now I keep a list of no water stones in my crystal box. Selenite, malachite, azurite… they all need to stay dry!
