Been messing around with some old-school orichalcum-inspired metal mixes. I'm checking out gold, copper, and aluminum combos to see how well they conduct electricity and hold up. Has anyone swapped out aluminum for silver? I'm curious how it changes things, especially when it comes to heat and electricity

Replacing aluminum (Al) with silver (Ag) in the mixture should increase both thermal and electrical conductivity. Silver possesses the highest conductivity of any pure metal. The final properties will be a function of the exact percentages of gold (Au), copper (Cu) and silver (Ag). What's the specific composition you're attempting to create?

Swapping aluminum for silver isn't gonna magically fix everything. silver conducts better, sure, but it's soft and pricey..sometimes sticking with aluminum or copper is just more practical.
