How do i know the quality of the citrine I bought

Got a citrine off a flea market recently and not sure how to check it's quality and value. Any tips?

A good citrine usually has a bright, even yellow‑gold color and nice clarity. If it looks overly reddish or has purple hints, it might be heat‑treated amethyst instead of natural citrine

Yep @Vicky68 is correct. Natural stones are rarer, so most on the market are heat‑treated, but they’re still genuine quartz
