I have this small amethyst sitting on my windowsill for a few months and I noticed that now it looks lighter. Could the sun be making it fade? Should I move it somewhere else? I really like it there.. but don’t want to ruin it. Please help

Yep, amethyst can lose its color if it sits in the sun too long. The UV light messes with the stuff inside that makes it purple. If you want to keep it looking nice, it’s safer to move it out of direct sunlight.

yep, don't expose it into exposing it to direct sunlight, or extreme temperature changes, bcs it can cause fading or damage.
