Do stones and crystals really help?

So I've been seeing a lot of posts and ads lately about healing crystals and energy stones. I'm pretty new to all this, but I've got a friend who swears her rose quartz helped her through a tough breakup. I saw a set of 5 stones online for $300 and it's supposed to balance emotions and boost focus. That's a lot of money for rocks, right?

I'm not judging, just genuinely curious. If you use crystals, what's your experience been like? Did they actually help with anything? Would love to hear your stories or thoughts!

I've had crystals for years, for me, it's not about having some magical power and more about using it as a tool for mindfulness.
Holding a specific stone when I'm feeling stressed helps me remember to take a deep breath and focus on something. It's a physical reminder of an intention I've set. It's kind of like a grown up version of a worry stone. It doesn't work for everyone, but it can be a really positive ritual
btw, what kind of stones did you buy? $300 is quite a lot for a beginner to spend on crystals

$300 is quite the price actually and you can find decent sets for way less. Also, I agree with @cryst4LnI about the intention and mindfulness than literal powers. If they help you focus or feel grounded, that’s already valuable, but I wouldn’t spend a fortune to get that effect

Crystals can serve as tools for mindfulness and emotional support. While scientific evidence is limited, many find comfort and focus through their use, making them a personal and symbolic aid.

Glad you're here! I started using crystals in 2019 when a friend gave me amethyst during a tough time at work. It helped me feel calm. $300 is a lot though. Most people begin with one stone for under $20. Do you know what each stone in that set is for? That can help you decide if it’s worth it.
