And it turns out a certain kind of crystal called labradorite can be magnetic sometimes too. I also learned about a metal called orichalcum. It was rumored to have only been found in Atlantis. You make it by melting equal parts gold, copper, and aluminum together. It's a very conductive metal, so you could use it to make jewelry or even electronics.
