Is this normal?

Has anyone else felt something wild like this when handling larger stones? I recently got this black tourmaline which is around the size of my palm. While unboxing it, it felt like it released intense energy, Hands were shaking, heart racing, I had to set it down for a moment. anyone had the same experience?

I remember unboxing a substantial amethyst geode once, and even though it wasn't shaking hands levels, I felt a distinct shift in the room's atmosphere and a buzzing sensation in my palms.
It was almost like the air got thicker around it.
Black tourmaline is known for its powerful protective and grounding properties, so it's not surprising it would pack a punch, especially at that size!
It makes you wonder how much goes on that we don't even consciously register, doesn't it?
